At The Retriever Inn, everything is designed to feel a little more relaxed, a little more natural, and a lot less chaotic.
Our approach is inspired by the gentle, social, and easygoing nature Golden Retrievers are known for. Dogs who thrive in calm, predictable environments with space to settle and just be.
As a small, farm-based boarding retreat, we keep things intentionally simple. A limited number of dogs, a steady daily rhythm, and thoughtful, individualized care allow each guest to ease into the experience without overstimulation or pressure.
We don’t believe in filling spaces. Instead, we focus on creating the right mix of dogs, one that feels balanced, comfortable, and cohesive for the group as a whole.
While many of our guests are Goldens, we welcome a small number of other dogs who share this same temperament and naturally fit into this environment.
